IoT Applications in Engineering (EnAppsIoT)
colocated to COLLABORATECOM 2019
August 19-22, 2019
London, Great Britain
The Internet of Things (IoT) is an innovative paradigm which shaped the evolution of the future Internet. With the Internet ubiquity, the IoT vision connect inanimate objects was accomplished. In modern times, Internet of Things (IoT) seen as a solution to address many challenges due to its connectivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. The use of IoT is seen as an example of an advanced society. IoT applications with high social and business impact are used in many sectors such as: personal healthcare, smart grid, livestock, surveillance, agricultural, home automation, intelligent transportation, public health and safety. This workshop will focus on the progress of the Engineering field with the support of IoT technologies.
Aim
The aim of this workshop is to bring together practitioners and researchers from both academia and industry in order to have a forum for discussion and technical presentations on the recent advances in application and implementation of the Internet of Things in Engineering. Researchers are invited to submit their state-of-art work to address the IoT challenges in Engineering application and showcase achievements in the field.
